"Two dancers on stage" cm. 11x15 Composite Woods

The Impressionists were a group of painters that began an unconventional artistic movement in France during the 19th century. They abandoned the muted colors traditionally used with gray and black shadowing and ignited a revolution with an explosion of brilliant colors. The artist’s vibrant palettes brought to life canvases depicting the outdoors, landscapes, and urban street scenes. The movement began with Monet, Renoir, Pissarro, Sisley, and Morisot and grew to include Manet, Cassatt, Degas, Cézanne, and several others.
